Mavs lose to the Kings

SACRAMENTO – The Dallas Mavericks continued their three-game road-trip with another loss. They fell to the Sacramento Kings 116-100. The Mavs didn’t have their night. They led after the first period, but at halftime it was Sacramento with the lead and the Mavs didn’t threaten the Kings again.

Luka Dončić finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes.

This was the first time the Mavs played against their former player Harrison Barnes. Barnes was traded to the Kings in the beginning of February. Coach Rick Carlisle went to seek him as soon as they arrived at Golden 1 Center. Barnes scored 16 points and six rebounds for the Kings.

The Mavs will end their road-trip with a game against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
