SAN FRANCISCO – The Dallas Mavericks opened back-to-back games in California with a victory over the Golden State Warriors 124-97. Dwight Powell and Luka Dončić combined for 41 points. Powell scored a team-high 21 points and Dončić ended with 20 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

“I liked our concentration, effort and focus defensively,” said Dallas’ coach Rick Carlisle. “We made enough plays on offense to get a lead and get out of here alive.”

The Mavericks are now 25-15 overall, 13-5 on the road and 9-2 on the road vs the Western Conference.

This was eight straight game for Mavs without Kristaps Porzingis who could return to the floor on Wednesday in Sacramento.
