Mavs beat shorthanded Philadelphia
DALLAS – The Dallas Mavericks won consecutive games for the first time since Feb 6. And they did it without Luka Dončić who sat out again with a right thigh injury. The Mavericks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 122-102 at American Airlines Center.
Even without their best player the Mavericks dominated the 76ers who were without Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler. Dallas trailed Philadelphia after the first quarter, but scored 41 points in the second to grab a halftime lead.
Justin Jackson scored team-high 24 points for the Mavs. Five others scored double figures.
Dallas will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
