DALLAS – The Dallas Mavericks returned home for a back-to-back game against the Phoenix Suns. After a win in Oklahoma City, the Mavericks lost against the Suns 133-104. This is the worst loss of the season for the Mavs. Devin Booker led the Suns, he scored 20 of his 32 points in a decisive third quarter.

Luka Dončić led Dallas with 21 points, six rebounds and two assists. “We just played a bad game, really bad game,” said Dončić. “This wasn’t us today, so we got to forget about this game and move on.” 20-year old from Slovenia was the only starter in double figures for Dallas.

“We just didn’t look good as a team,” said coach Rick Carlisle. “We just didn’t have much juice.”

The Mavericks dropped to 29-18 and are now 6th in the Western Conference. Their troubles at home continue, they are just 13-12 at home and 16-6 on the road.

Willie Cauley-Stein made his Dallas debut. He scored four points and three rebounds in 12 minutes.

The Mavs will play the Houston Rockets on Friday.
