Mavs fall to the Trail Blazers

PORTLAND – The Dallas Mavericks started their three-game road-trip with a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers 126-118. The Trail Blazers have won five of the last six games as they try to secure home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Mavericks on the other hand lost nine of their ten games. Dallas in now 28-43 with eleven games remaining. The Mavs are second-to-last in the West.

Luka Dončić scored 24 points, five rebounds and six assists.

Damian Lillard had 33 points and 12 assists for the Trail Blazers and Seth Curry scored 20 off the bench.

The Mavs will play the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
