The Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Dallas Mavericks for the second time this season. The Mavericks had a stellar November, they were 7-1 going into matchup with the Lakers, but they filed to continue their winning ways.
The Mavs got to a hot start and built a big lead, but the Lakers locked in defensively, pulled away in the third quarter and beat the Mavericks 114-103. The Lakers now lead the regular season series over the Mavericks 2-0.
For the first time in his NBA career Luka Dončić failed to score in double figures. The Mavs rookie played over 31 minutes and ended the night with 6 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 stills and 2 blocks.
Dončić proved he has not only great passing ability and ball-handling, with back-to-back blocks vs LeBron James he showed he is not to be underestimated for his shot-blocking skills.
